The snuff bottle is a kind of small container with tiny mouth and flat belly so that it is easy for people to carry and use. This miniature handicraft was a microcosm of the painting and carrying techniques, which prevailed in the Qing dynasty. However, painting inside snuff bottle is different than glass painting. When painting a bottle, a painter usually use an angled bamboo pen with color, inserted into the small opening in the neck of the bottle and painting in the narrow space inside of it. Therefore, it is more difficult to paint inside a bottle than a piece of glass which needs a special skill and not every painter can be competent at such a tremendous work.

Dr. Sun Yat-sen (1866 - 1925)
 Dr. Sun Yat-sen (November 12, 1866 - March 12, 1925) was a Chinese revolutionary leader and statesman. He had a significant influence in the overthrow of the Qing Dynasty and establishment of the Republic of China. A founder of the Kuomintang, Dr. Sun is the first provisional president of the Republic of China. He developed a political philosophy known as the Three Principles of the People. Sun is uniquely admired by almost all Chinese. Yet, his life was one of constant struggle and frequent exile as few of his visions for his country materialized.
Sun Yat-sen is the style name by which Sun is most commonly known in English. In Chinese he is most commonly known as Sun Zhongshan. In the 1930s he was posthumously given the title "Father of the Nation", which is currently used primarily in Taiwan. In mainland China, he is commonly referred to as the "Forerunner of the Revolution".

The Top Academy Artist - Dong Kun
Dong Kun was born in 1940. His fine works won the first prize Cup of Hope of The Hundred-Flower-Prize (HFP) Competition. At other exhibitions held in America, UK, France and Japan, his work were well received.
In 1986, he was invited to Paris to demonstrate his skills at the Chinese Export Commodities Exhibition where he achieved great success. His art amazed the French people, who said they had never seen such a superb skill.
Among Wang Xisan's apprentices, he has achieved the greatest success and is now one of the top academy artists.
