This vase is under glazed copper-red and green enamel decorated with "Horse", a symbol of success, an unique and exclusive made item designed and hand made by a Master artist "Xu Guoqin" in Jingdezhen China. She has taken an advanced learning from National Master "Wang Enhuai", in Jingdezhen. The perfectly hand-made clay body in a special shape is really fine and smooth as it looks flourish and elegant. This vase is painted in detail and full of artistic feeling and temperament. The painting "Horse" is a symbol of "Energetic". A sign of the artist's stamp and the artist's name Guoqin are inscribed by hand in greenish and copper-red enamel on the lower side of the vase and also dated as well.

Xu Guoqin, born in 1966, in Jingdezhen of Jiangxi Province, China. In 1986, she graduated her study in the Institute of Arts & Crafts, Jingdezhen. In 1990, she then took the advance study of technical skill in ceramic arts from a National Master, Wang Enhuai , who is one of the top ranking artists of arts and crafts of the Ceramic Research Institute of Jingdezhen.

Xu Guoqin not only studied from Master Wang Enhuai, she is also his daughter-in-law. She is really a hard-working artist. Under the influence of arts and skills of her father Wang Enhuai, her works of art have developed to a considerable level. In order to achieve greater success, she has made many works in a wide range of category and achieved many kudos. She is specialized in blue and white, underglaze color, combination decor ; painting of flowers and birds, landscape and animals. Her works demonstrate her own superb skills, creative and characteristics.

Recently, her achievements of works are highly praised and awarded many prizes throughout China and overseas competitions. Most of her recent works of art have been collected by collectors throughout Japan, Korea, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Taiwan. She has been invited for a special broadcast of ceramic arts on television, radio and the press in China.
