The snuff bottle is a kind of small container with tiny mouth and flat belly so that it is easy for people to carry and use. This miniature handicraft was a microcosm of the painting and carrying techniques, which prevailed in the Qing dynasty. However, painting inside snuff bottle is different than glass painting. When painting a bottle, a painter usually use an angled bamboo pen with color, inserted into the small opening in the neck of the bottle and painting in the narrow space inside of it. Therefore, it is more difficult to paint inside a bottle than a piece of glass which needs a special skill and not every painter can be competent at such a tremendous work.

Tung Chee Hwa / Dong Jianhua (1937)
 Tung Chee-hwa (Pinyin: Dong Jianhua) (born July 7, 1937, aka the 29th day of the fifth month in Chinese calendar in that year) took office as the first Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China in 1997, following the handover of sovereignty from the United Kingdom to the People's Republic of China. Tung suddenly found himself responsible for the development of Hong Kong with its new identity as part of the PRC.
Born in Shanghai, Tung's family moved to Hong Kong when he was ten and his father, Tung Chao Yung, went on to become a very successful entrepreneur. After the death of his father, Tung took over his father's multi-million dollar business. However, poor management and bad decisions took him to the brink of bankruptcy. Desperate for help, Tung turned to the Beijing government, which helped stabilize his business with political intervention in the form of arms shipments via their company. Thankful for rescuing his family enterprise, Tung's loyalty to the Beijing government was assured. The central government saw Tung as the ideal person to head the SAR government, mainly due to his adamant loyalty. Tung won a landslide victory in the election for Chief Executive of the new government as many had expected, since the 400 voters of the electoral college were carefully chosen by the Beijing government and cannot be said to have adequately or appropriately represented the people of Hong Kong.

The Provincial Artist - Lu Jianguang
He was born in HeBei province, China in 1965. He started his art painting since 1976. He was instructed by Grand Master Wang Xisan for advance learning in inside painted snuff bottle. He has engaged in art paintings for almost 30 years and renowned for painting portraits both classical and modern periods. His achievements are worthy of highest praise and award as most of his art works are collected by many world collectors.
Among Wang Xisan's apprentices, he has achieved the greatest success and is considered to be on of the new master artists in the future.
